To answer part of your question, I doubt seriously that you'd notice a bit of difference between a balanced & unbalanced trailer tire so that half ounce sensor won't matter. Personally I've never balanced any trailer tire & not likely to in the future.
Nor with it's minute weight will it noticeably affect the balance of your truck tires.
