I70 and I68 replaced US 40. You can see a lot of US 40 winding alongside as it climbs over the hills. Had grandparents that lived in Morgantown, WV so know the road well. Also had an aunt and cousins that lived in Salem, WV (west of Clarksburg, WV) and I would drive in at night across Rt 50 to visit. Why at night? Young, single, and stupid I'd run that road at high speed like it was the Nuremberg track.
