I should clarify that the awning is bolted on at the top of the arms,but not anywhere down the channel.They used what looks like caulk at the mid point and the bottom to adhere it to the siding.I hear ya about running some screws or small lag bolts in to hold it,but while its under warranty I'm gonna see what solution the dealer comes up with.
