We stayed at the Oakwood RV park, a couple of years ago, with 2 other couples.
It was nice, the spaces we had were adequate, not huge, but not bumping against the neighbors either.
We spent most of our time in town, eating, drinking and shopping.
The Nimitz museum is great, plan for some time, it is fairly large.
