When we went looking for a generator, we wanted a 3500 watt unit and the Predator was looking good until we measured the height. It wouldn't fit under the tonneau cover in our truck. So we went for the Champion which does fit. The Predator was significantly cheaper though.
Also, there is a specification somewhere (can't remember where I read this) for the maximum noise level in some parks. Most of the inverter type gens that I've seen meet the spec, but the industrial types do not.
