Ball stuck
it helps to use a pin to hold the latch up.
Jack the trailer up a bit to put upward tension on it.
Make sure the trailer is chocked.
Then just release the parking brake on the tow vehicle
It just pops.
This usually happens when a lot of tension is between the Trailer & vehicle.
Bit of forward or reverse it will pop off.
