I really like the ability to control mechanisms and lights from my phone. For example, turning on/off the basement lights, extending the awning while sitting outside, adjusting the landing gear height when hitching. Had a leaking hydraulic cylinder and was able to open/close the slide-outs while lying under the RV. I quickly found the bad cylinder that way. It was also nice to have that remote control when replacing the cylinder as you have to extend and retract it before you bolt it to the frame.
Also, there is an ability to control many circuits directly from the main relay panel in the basement should the control panel malfunction.
