We did Skyline Drive several times from north to south but never continued on to Blue Ridge Pky. Campgrounds on SLD were no hookups but restrooms were very clean. Overlook sites of Appellation Trail were fabulous and Luray Caverns in the center of the park was a definite must see. Some good inclines and descents so don't expect to break any speed records.
