I have had a similar problem with low air flow to the bedroom.
I discovered that the duct that runs under the steps was crushed a bit.
I am installing wood steps as seen in another post and I am also installing a second vent with larger duct work to the very front off the bedroom boxing it in and insulating it. Mine is a toy hauler, nobody ever sleeps back there in the garage so I sealed off the heater vent to it.
