I've made shades for every camper we had, usually to replace the kitchen and bedroom ones. Buy a cheap vinyl shade, take the end off that doesn't have the mechanism in it, cut the roller tube and vinyl off the end to the width you need but leave the vinyl on it for now (you'll need it put your fabric on straight). Buy fabric of your choice, easy if you find something that won't unravel so you only need to sew the bottom edge to hold a slat or dowel.
Use lightweight iron on interfacing if you want white showing on the outside, many of the darkening shade have white on the back. Lay your new fabric aligning the side edge with the vinyl edge and staple to roller before cutting off the vinyl, insures you get it on straight. Use hold down bracket and drill a small hole in the dowel piece on the end.
Have to make one for our current camper, will take some pics if I remember.
