I recommend wearing pajamas until you get this figured out. I have aluminum blinds in my ancient Cougar and while they are not something I would recommend, they do stay closed in the bedroom ALWAYS and we also have 80 percent tint on the windows. That makes it very difficult to see into the camper if the lights are off. I personally would get some bamboo slat blinds of the proper width and remove the slats not needed at the bottom; these blinds come with fittings you can screw into the wall and hook the bottom part into so they don't bounce around. When I get some ambition I will likely put some in our camper as the old aluminum blinds have really taken a beating especially on the back (kitchen) window and big side window next to our dining room table.
