Be careful when requesting "steel stems"


1. What you need are "bolt-on metal stems" Some people think the rubber "high pressure" snap-in stems with metal sleeves will work. Not the same thing


2. Minor detail but every metal tire stem I have worked with for over 40 years is brass. Some are Nickle or Chrome plated but still are brass. There is a torque spec for the external nut of 25 - 45 INCH Pounds.
