When tire replacement time comes along, the most common upgrade for RV trailer tires is an increase in load range.

The increase in load range seldom presents a fitment problem. The most common obstacle is rim compatibility. Often the Original Equipment rims are not capable of supporting the increased pressure requirements of the next higher load range.

There isn’t much gained with adding a load range without adding tire pressure to take advantage of the available reserves the higher load range will provide.
