I listened to a podcast recently and one of the guests was Roger Marble who, when asked about tire temperatures, said none of the TPMS devices could measure the temperature of critical parts of a tire, because the sensors can not be placed where the critical places are located. He said the only thing to be concerned with is the pressure.
