If you don't want to mess with it, I would suggest you just call some dealers and ask if they buy used trailers. Many do. There are also consignment lots where you can take it and forget it and let them sell it. You will get wholesale price, which is lower than trade-in price but you get it done without trying to show it, price it, negotiate it, etc.
