Maybe I called wrong, but I'm betting with that model the front/rear caps are gelcoat & the sides are filon, a form of fiberglass, unless it's aluminum sides.
If you bought it used the previous owner may have had the caps painted as gelcoat in some of the colors has a bad reputation of fading badly & the only permanent cure is to have it painted. The sides, unless aluminum will, not have been painted.
