Only thing you didn't mention is the splash blending done when the driver swipes his card at the loading rack which usually add the additive package (Techron for example) into the truck and the "generic" gas is loaded on top and mixed during the ride to the stations. We were an indy company and shipped fuel to tank storage/loading facilities for sale.

I blended in SoCal and the only company we did "special blends" for was Exxon, who had certain specs for their base fuel prior to additives.

^This is correct. The additive package for the particular brand is added at the loading rack.
