If you haven't done so already, I find the Good Sam trip planner to work well for us. You can set filters to avoid things you don't like and schedule stops as needed. They show places to get fuel and points of interest. There are other travel apps but I have not found the need for any more than this one: https://www.goodsam.com/trip-planner/
If you time it right you could detour to Albuquerque for the balloon festival
