If there is a "vent on the wall" and "a flex hose" then it's not for a dryer vent. If it was, there wouldn't be the vent in the wall...
When you get back to the trailer, turn on the furnace and you should feel air blowing out of that flex hose. If you do, then connect it to the wall vent. If you don't, you've got two choices: 1) Start digging to find the crimped hose or the cut hose or 2) call the dealer and let them deal with it.
If you've got camping trips scheduled, just make an appointment for after the trips. I'd recommend not waiting until fall and then trying to make an appointment, you probably won't get one for 3-4 months after the call... Call now and get your appointment for 3-4 months from now LOL
