Hello Everybody

Hello fellow members:
I’ve been lurking over this group for a while now. I’m a first time owner out of pure luck (maybe). I was given a 2001 Keystone Bobcat 18ft RV about 4 weeks ago. That was the luck part! Sad fact is that the trailer was bought brand new (2001) and the owners never used it. Owner was sent to Iraq and other places for a while and the family just let it sit in their back yard for 3 years. Once he returned home he open the door a saw a tree limb sticking through the ceiling. He started to repair haphazard and ran out of interest. I found out about the camper and asked what he wanted for it, owner asked how fast I could get it out of his yard.
Last 3 weeks have been busy slowly removing/gutting forward section of interior and inspecting. Finely figured out that this little RV was repairable. The last 3 days I have removed the roof and totally installed a new roof wood structure and rubber with the help of a good (great) friend. My next task is to remove/ repair a section of the exterior side wall. The area in front of the door has some delaminating and needs repaired. I have a few ideas on making this repair, but will always be open to suggestions. Looking forward to being a member and gaining any wisdom the members may share. Almost forgot; I hooked up shore power filled water system and turned on the gas and was very surprised that every thing worked great.
