Mine blew off last fall, my fault, wind picked up and was not paying attention.
Wind lifted it up and pulled out the 3- 10mm lag bolts that held it down and off the pivot hinge at the top. So I had a good close look at it when re-installing it. (added a few extra bolts as well!).
