Welcome to the forum.
As far as any tips on pulling and backing a 5er; I would practice backing up in a parking lot. I was instructed to always back from the driver side and to understand that the trailer will start to turn a little slower than a tag along and then it will speed up on you (makes sense to you). I also believe that the trailer will turn inside of you turning circle, so you will need to pull further in to the turn lane then a tag along before starting your turn. This has been my experience. They are taller then a tag along trailer so you need to beware of your height. Follow the truck routes when towing and what for bridge clearance signs as you tow.
I have also notice less trailer sway with the 5er then a tag along, but you still need to be aware of semi's on a windy day as you pass each other.
Good luck.
