DIY repairs on easy to fix items seems to be a "no brainer" for most of us. While there are some who insist that "It's under warranty, so I'm going to make them fix it"... Most of us find that the cost in time and transportation costs makes it easier to just do it ourself rather than haul it to the dealer, let it sit for weeks/months, go back to pick it up and find that something else is broken, damaged or missing.....

It's so much easier to just buy a $20 faucet, spend 20 minutes and be ready to go camping instead of spending an hour hitching, an hour hauling, an hour waiting to get the service order written, an hour home, then repeat in a few weeks when they call to "joyfully" tell us that it's ready to pickup.....

Congratulations on the faucet changeout, hopefully that'll be the only issue you have with your trailer and you'll enjoy camping without any more problems. BTW, while under the sink, did you notice the black tank anti-siphon valve ???? Keep an eye on it, every time you use the black tank flush, be sure to visually check it for leaks.
