This won't be what you want to hear, but you won't be within your payload limit posted on your door jam. 2973 is a bare minimum. Let's take 2600 out for your pin weight, 200 pounds for your hitch, and the list will continue. By the time you actually head down the road, in real figures, your payload will probably top out closer to 3500 pounds.
Nope, I'm not telling you not to do it. But I am telling you, from the voice of experience, what the real numbers are. Back in the day, most of us on here have towed so far out of the numbers that we're lucky to have made it home. Remember the boloney skins on the old '63 that was your first car? And you probably towed a friend's ski boat that wouldn't float much past the afternoon without bailing!
But we're smarter today (hopefully) and we make better decisions. Good information helps you make good decisions.
