I did this on the carbon 327, the clearance to deck was tighter. It works, no rubbing, but I've never fully loaded the garage to capacity.
There are lift blocks you can get to get the clearance back, if you really want to deal with it.. But while you're in there you might as well do the shackles and upgrade the U-bolts too.. :-)
