You might want to check the furnace ducts to make sure there are no kinks or sharp bends, no loose connections or left over construction debris in the ductwork. While you are at it, also have a look at the outlets on your furnace to make sure you don't have any open, unconnected outlets that are simply blowing hot air into the space around the furnace.

I wouldn't put too much faith in the "Polar Pack" designation.

Since the furnace runs off 12VDC and propane, being hooked up to your household 110vac 20A duplex has no effect on the operation of the furnace.
