Problem found. It was my error but not what was suggested or what I would have thought. It was wired correctly however one of the strain relief clamps was too tight and pinched/cut the ground wire into one of the hot leads. They didn't say but I'd suspect the red L2 lead. Back home, hooked up, passed EMS and life is good except my cold which is kicking my ***. But not near as much as I am kicking my own though. Thanks for all the comments.
