My mileage goes to nearly half when I hook up my 7000 lb fifth wheel. Normally I get about 18 to 20 solo depending on how and where I drive. With the trailer attached, it's down to about 9.8-11 usually and maybe even a little less if it's a "hard pull" in hills or a headwind. I've seen a 15 MPH headwind cut mileage by 1-2 MPG but I've never seen a tailwind of the same strength improve it that much LOL

It takes a lot of work to move an RV that size down the road and work takes fuel. I don't have any other suggestions on what to do to improve your mileage. Some may suggest a chip, exhaust, intake modifications, but I'm thinking they will be of negligible help when under that kind of load.
