A buddy has the same truck with a very similar trailer and does okay. His WDH needed some fine tuning but is dialed in okay, I suppose. I still think he needs air bags due to a lot of squat. Half tons are just so soft in the rear to make a nice ride that it's hard to get them to have a lot of capacity. If/when you tighten up the WDH you start to lose traction over bumps in the wet weather. Also, being able to go a little heavier on the tongue (assuming you still have the available payload to allow it) makes for a more stable towing experience.
