Haven't been on in a while have to laugh at everyone who wants to put this rig down! Apparently none of you have ever driven an HDT! It is more maneuverable than my RAM DRW pickup was. (bigger wheel cut, wider front end, hitch point farther back) all makes for better maneuvering and I have no problem backing into sites and can fit into any space thats 60' long. I can easily fit just about where any class A can go. The best part is much less $ than a new dually would cost. Will go way more miles than any pickup will. Not to mention the safety factor. My 08 Ram 3500 DRW 4x4 6spd manual was at 100% combined GVWR. With this setup I was able to lighten the trailer (put some stuff into storage on truck) and have lot's of safety margin for less money than a newer dually with larger capacities would be. I have been in many campgrounds with no problem, but we boondock a lot and I have been in some amazing spots with this setup. You do have to be careful where you go that's just common sense, but so far this has worked out well. This HDT club is getting larger all the time you should think about it especially those at or near capacity and I'll bet there is quite a few of you if I was there with a 300 mp!
