Like many of us I have a 10,000 GVWR 5er with a D rated tire and want to upgrade to E for the added weight cushion (2540 vs 2830). My question is since most tires come from over seas does it matter what tire to get?
Has anyone had experience with Triangle Tires?
I'm looking at Triangle tire in the E rating and after reading so much about tires it seems to come down to a couple of things, like proper inflation, weight and speed. Currently my 5er has D rated Trailer Kings, but not comfortable with the weight rating. I do monitor them closely.
I've read people question the fact that most people complaining about the "china bombs" are either overloaded or speeding. I guess what i'm getting at is, I feel like any E rated tire will be better for my 5er than the best D rated tire.
