My truck has a 145 amp alternator, seems to charge trailer battery from 1/2 to full in 15 to 20 minutes.
not so bad considering I usually am plugged into shore power.
2x a day running 15 minutes is better than using a generator.
If I didn't use the tv or dvd my battery would last a long time.
I forgot what gauge wire I used but I went with oversized one when hooking up trailer 7 prong plug.
