I think you'll have an "issue" using any jack on the I beam on the side where the black iron propane pipe is located. Usually, it's right under (and attached to) the I beam. So, one side you can do as you described, the other side, with the propane line, probably not...

So, the answer becomes, if you're unable to do it on one side, is it even necessary on the other side ????

Quick answer, just jack the axles on the spring hangers. No need to jack the frame AND the axles to lift the tires off the ground....
