Lesson learned
We have TST 507 tire pressure monitoring system,it has preformed well for the last two years. I took off the sensors to replace the batteries in doing so I lost the small rubber gaskets from the sensors. I replaced the batteries,reinstalled the sensors,checked the monitor all seemed well. Later I discovered I had a flat,the unit had not be moved,so it seemed odd. I inflated the tire inspected it used soapy water to check for leaks found none. Then I checked the monitor to discover the missing rubber gasket,luckily it was in the plastic bag I store the monitors and spare batteries and installation tool.The lesson I learned is to check the sensors for the gasket any time they are removed or replaced.
