I believe we were raised the exact same way! I do all repairs that I can possibly do. Boat, Truck, camper, house etc. I'm sure I've saved 10's of thousands if not more. My yearly SS statement my first job was rebuilding vacuums for my parents shop when I was 11! And my pops taxed me!
