Shakedown complete!!

Made it back from our first week of camping in the new rig. Love this setup so much. We have never owned a brand new camper so this has been a thrill and a bit nerve racking. Just a few minor things to have tweaked at the dealer and we came up with a few ideas to make things easier as we continue to get familiar with this unit. First thing I posted right after we picked up the trailer was a cabinet that pops open going down the road. We know to look for it now so not that big a deal. The bracket that holds the table leaf seems to be have been robbed after delivery at the dealer. Should be an easy enough fix. Shower faucet, hose and shower head all leak quite a bit but still usable. And the panel is going to take some getting used to. But overall we could not be more pleased with how this first trip went and the quality of the unit in general. All major mechanicals worked properly. We used everything at least once to be sure all hoses and lines don't leak, etc. Fridge and freezer are working great. Only thing I have not tried yet is the oven. Next trip for sure.

Truck is getting between 11-12mpg. That is will full fresh water and added generator weight as we dry camp quite often. Suspect if we head to a campground without all that we should be closer to the 13mpg range. Which sure beats what the old RV was getting. We'll take it.
