Our table is bolted to the floor, there are four eyelets on the floor with two straps that go across the chairs on each side of the table. We never use that system and only use one "buckle strap" about 18" long. We place it around the table base and through one leg of each of the chairs. That holds the chairs in place. I'd probably not do anything, except there's a very large window that sits next to the table. If the chairs ever "jostled against that window" ..... So, better safe than sorry, I suppose.
