If you crawl under your RV, you'll find three "low point drains". Two should be located in the same vicinity and they are the hot/cold plumbing line drains. The other is "directly under the lowest point" on the fresh water tank.

Typically, yes the gravity fill and the location of the water pump are "in close proximity" to the fresh water tank, but sometimes the gravity fill can be on the opposite side of the trailer and/or the water pump could be located a significant distance away from the FW tank, either because of cabinet/suitable mounting locations or to co-locate the pump with other components (like locating the furnace, water pump and water heater, all in the belly of a fifth wheel)...
