I live outside Rochester NY and we travel a lot.
I have suggestions but we can discuss this in the spring.
One major issue that should be looked at early is getting from Maine to Florida.
You do not want to take I-95.
I-95 is tough in a car, with an RV in tow..... Eeeek!
You want to avoid NYC, Baltimore and Washington.

I-90 West to I-79 to I-77 looks longer but is way easier on the brain and nerves.
