Fourth Ram truck, a 2016 3500 with the HO Cummins and Aisin transmission. Nothing wrong with the previous 3, but, as my RVs get bigger and heavier I needed more towing capacity and power. I have had three recalls on this truck, but, no other issues. I have a maintenance contract with the dealership and they use synthetic oil. The only modification I did was install aftermarket airbags to eliminate sag when towing the 5th wheel.
As I am on my fourth, I was content with Ram and just stayed with the brand. However, had the dealer not had the powertrain I wanted I would have looked at the GM brands and Ford.
