I used a 10 ft. piece of corrugated fiberglass and 2 2x4s as covers while the trailer is in storage. Cut the material in half and attach 2x4s with screws on the bottom. I use Pcord to tie the top to the slide drive arm and (if I need or want) I can put a stake in the dirt and screw the cover down temporarily. It covers most of the tires from sun and rain and they are durable and cheap to make. I do not full time so I just roll these up and put them in my back yard when I use the trailer. I also park off the ground with the tires on concrete blocks.
