Hercules ST and ST2 is what I got for the boat trailer mainly due to low price. Most trips are 2 miles or less to ramp. I noted right away the Hercules ST tire was the 100% same tread as the Trailer Kings on the TT. Upon looking up the data from the tires(printed on side wall) they are made by the same company in China in a different city than Trialer Kings. ST2s are a little different tread pattern. I ripped the side walls out on 2 of the STs. That was my fault by backing up into fixed rocks next to the ramp. The ST2 is the newer model. I have not taken time to look those up to see if their still the same as TKs. So, are they better or not? I doubt it.
