I haven't been looking at much of anything as far as weather but, man, there IS a heat wave. Here in W TX we have a prediction of temps in excess of 100 degrees for 10 days. On the other hand, having been in FL for months, returning the last couple of weeks, with temps in the mid 80s and the high humidity....we agree that we can both do 100 degree days with low humidity EVERY day vs mid temps and high humidity. Took pup out for her walk today at a little lake we have; temp 101 at 7pm. Walking around and having fun was FAR cooler than taking her out in FL, or even AR, at 85 degrees,
