Yeah, I wouldn't call the badlands a destination vacation by any means. Nice diversion after driving across the prairie on the freeway all day I suppose. For us it's just a convenient stopover so we can get to our main destination during the day instead of arriving late in the evening. As far as their quilt show goes, the BIL has a full taproom setup in his basement so I might be otherwise occupied.
