You say there isn't anything in the vent ..... your dog says there is. Time to start pulling off the covers and vacuuming as far as you can. "The nose knows" and if it is a hound they are seldom wrong ..... most of the time crazy, but seldom wrong. Remember that what you consider nothing is the world to her .... a spider, a cricket, the month old trail of some critter or a year old half eaten french-fry. If she insists it's there, it is.
