What year/model? Did they ever work?

Mine did the same thing on PDI. After watching them try to "fix" it I told them to leave it alone and I would take it home to repair. Get inside with a flashlight and have someone close the door. There will be 2 latch mechanisms that snap over a metal reinforcement plate. Look to see what is going on. Are the spring loaded latches too high? The plate too far back? Once you determine that you then will need to figure a way to adjust that reinforcement plate. I did not see a good way to adjust the latch mechanisms on the door without the potential of causing other issues going forward.
