So to be clear you remove the CCC2 thermostat off the wall and unplugged the telephone cable? If so did you leave it remove for a few minutes before reconnecting ?

Once reconnected does the blue back lite turn on but it’s frozen still and you cannot perform a reset of the thermostat?

If so thermostat has failed
