Are you staying in a campground or boondocking? Most cgs have some sort of "game room", or hall they use for bingo. Many cgs and state parks will have a Pavilion with tables that will provide some "elbow room" and a change of scenery. You can take the kids to one of those spaces to play games, read a story, have the kids put on a "show" for you etc.
