Do you have a full cover on it for storage? If so that's their path to the roof. Years ago when taking a trailer out of winter storage I rubbed it out and waxed it. Thinking the best way to keep it looking that good I bought a cover. That winter it became a mouse motel when previously I'd never had a mouse in it. I walked out one day to see a mouse crawling up the inside of the cover and that was when I knew how they were getting in
