Bulletproof,

I see you found the PDI checklist. It's pretty thorough, so take your time and follow it and you should hit on everything that "really matters" in the RV.

Don't forget to take your tools. You'll need a way to tighten (torque) the lug nuts, check tire pressure, and tools to open/close access ports/covers as well as electrical tools to repair/modify any of the trailer/tow vehicle connections.

If you have it, an air compressor might be a great thing to carry with you this trip. Every screw (well the ones that will matter) on your "new RV" will be a Roberts #2 square drive, so don't forget to grab one of them or some bits for your Apex driver.

Make sure you find/locate the adapter flexible extension for the slide. You'll need it in the event of a slide failure. Chances are you'll never use it, but if you don't know where it is, that's when you will need it....
